This page takes you through how to download the small piece of software you need, tells you all about what you are downloading, and gives you a link to download it. Please note, you only have to download this piece of software once, you do not have to download it every time.

Once you have downloaded and installed the piece of software, then you can enter the chat room.

Please note - the chat room asks for a user name and a password - you do not need a password, simply add your name and and log on!

The piece of software we have been talking about is called "WebConferencePlugin.exe" - it is a small file that sits on your computer, and does everything you need to make the chat room work. The chat room allows you to listen to other users, and talk to them by pressing the control key on your keyboard - this piece of software is what allows that to happen.

In a moment I will give you a link. This will download the small (3.61mb) file. When you click on the link, you will be prompted to either save the file, or run the file. My suggestion is to run the file - it will download and install itself automatically.

Note - You may get a Windows security warning about not being able to verify the publisher - don't panic, the software is safe, it is just Windows telling you that it's not a Microsoft product! If this appears, click on "run"

Once the software is installed, you will have a message on screen that says the "web conference is installed", and that you can enter the room in the normal way (which is through here). Click on the finish button, and all is done!
